Supporting Wisconsin’s Natural Beauty, Resources, and Tourism

Wisconsin is one of the most resplendent states in the nation. We have been blessed with an abundance of natural resources and exquisite beauty that draws people to our state and communities for recreation, hunting and fishing, and to enjoy silent sports and health benefits of getting outdoors.

Tourism is an important economic driver bringing families to our restaurants, hotels and resorts, as well as to our retailers. It is imperative that we have a vibrant and accessible state recreational system showcasing our outstanding natural resources including parks and trails, lakes, streams and rivers in order to support our strong travel and tourism industry, as well as for our retailers and lodging industry. I will work to ensure that our Wisconsin natural resources are fully supported, protected, and, when the time allows after this pandemic, open and ready to receive visitors and guests.

My family and I are grateful to be able to enjoy biking on our Loop the Lake trail, visiting the Neenah farmer’s Market to enjoy the bounty from local farms, to fish and boat on Lake Winnebago, and to enjoy countless hours in Door County at Whitefish Dunes or Peninsula State Park, or boating on Clark Lake and Egg Harbor. As your representative in Madison, I would work to ensure these wonderful opportunities are available for all our residents.
